Post-Baccalaureate work in Teacher Education involves graduate programs that lead to
teacher certification in the State of Connecticut. Post-baccalaureate students are considered graduate students and so must apply to the Graduate Office for admission. Except for the Summer – Summer Elementary Program and the Accelerated Programs in Mathematics and Spanish, admission to the Graduate School as a post-baccalaureate student precedes the School of Education and Professional Studies’ Professional Program evaluation and admission decision.
Students who already hold a bachelor’s degree may prepare for teacher certification through our post-baccalaureate programs; these programs do not result in a master’s degree.
For Pre-admission information call 860-832-2417 for an appointment.
