The Social Work Program at Central Connecticut State University has been taught by a dedicated and experienced faculty since 1978. The program is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Council on Social Work Education. The Social Work major consists of 39 Social Work credits and 12 credits from related areas. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for beginning social work practice or acceptance into graduate school.
