Delia Adorno has been teaching at CCSU as an adjunct since 1999. Prior to that she was Director of School Counseling in Regional District #8 where she led the initiative to design and implement a comprehensive school counseling program. In 2004-05 she served as president of the Connecticut School Counselor Association (CSCA) and currently edits and routinely contributes articles to the newsletter for that organization. She also is a regular presenter at CSCA conferences and workshops on such topics as ethical issues for school counselors and accountability for school counselors.
Delia Adorno received an M.A. from Fordham University, N.Y., B.A. from Georgian Court College, N.J. a 6th year certificate from University of Hartford. In addition, she is certified as a school administrator with course work from Central Connecticut State University.
